Back to my Roots

We just arrived home from a trip to visit our family in Missouri and Western Illinois

Upon our arrival, we hopped in a car and headed directly to O'Fallen where we had a lovely visit with my Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and 2nd Cousins. 

We stayed at Tall Boy's house in Waterloo.  

Tall Boy is my Uncle and he is one of the most interesting people I know. He is handy and can fix all sorts of things, well read and can talk with you about any subject, plays guitar and piano and is willing to try/learn just about anything.

Plus he is very handsome!

 We stayed up till 2AM catching up and playing guitar.

In the morning we woke up to Tall Boy playing a pretty song on the piano.

It is a memory I will hold close always.

Later in the day we visited a few local landmarks and explored the farm again

It was a nice to see and visit everyone on Dad's side.
