Band of Horses

We ended our lazy weekend with a lazy Sunday night, and went outer borough with some friends to our fav Brooklyn 'hood, Williamsburg.

Occasion: Good ol' fun and an awesome indie-rock band Band of Horses at Williamsburg Waterfront

Karen Elson and Grizzly Bears were both pretty cool opening acts too and the backdrop was gorgeous - Manhattan skyline behind the audience and converted warehouses just behind the stage.

Ben Bridwell is the band's front man and has a pretty amazing voice.

I thought  'am i a good man' was the best, it was early in set and they had loads of energy behind it. Unfortunately, my recordings were not working too well and had to scrap the music videos. Oh, they also played 'is there a ghost' which was much later in set and just freaking great.  hmm, maybe that was my fav....Of course, I still liked  'cigarettes Wedding Bands'  on some level though a bit depressing

My video skills are still being fine tuned, this is just my second -  band of horses as recorded by Dasha

But good old pictures are the best anyway.

The real Band of Horses...
